Services
Product Suite
ByuTech provides iOS applications (VoicePro, PolarWords, TransPeek), macOS applications (SpeakMore), web-based AI assistants, and related services.
Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Cloud-dependent features (SpeakMore, AI Assistant) require internet connectivity and are subject to third-party provider uptime.
Updates
We regularly update our products to improve functionality and security. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
User Responsibilities
Lawful Use
You agree to use our products in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
Acceptable Use
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our applications, except where permitted by law.
Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, import, or process through our applications. We claim no rights over your content.
Purchases & Subscriptions
App Store
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple's terms of service apply to all transactions.
Pricing
Product pricing is listed on the App Store and may vary by region. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future purchases.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled through Apple's App Store refund process in accordance with Apple's refund policy.
Free Products
SpeakMore is free and open-source under the MIT License. It is provided "as-is" without warranty.
Intellectual Property
Ownership
All ByuTech products, branding, code (except open-source components), designs, and content are the intellectual property of ByuTech.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our products for personal or internal business purposes.
Open Source
SpeakMore is licensed under MIT. Other open-source components are governed by their respective licenses.
Limitation of Liability
No Warranty
Our products are provided "as-is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
AI Limitations
AI-generated content (translations, transcriptions, suggestions) may contain errors. Users should verify critical outputs independently.
Maximum Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
By You
You can stop using our services and delete your account at any time.
By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services for violations of these terms, with notice where practicable.
Effect
Upon termination, your license to use our products ceases. Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
Governing Law
Jurisdiction
