Data We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account or purchase our apps, we collect your name, email address, and payment information processed through Apple's App Store.
Usage Analytics
We collect anonymized usage data — feature interactions, session duration, and crash reports — to improve product quality. This data cannot identify you personally.
On-Device Processing
Products like TransPeek perform OCR and translation 100% on-device using Apple's Vision framework. No screen content, images, or recognized text ever leaves your device.
Voice Data
SpeakMore transmits audio to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, Alibaba Qwen, etc.) for transcription. Audio is processed in real-time and is not stored by ByuTech. Refer to each provider's privacy policy for their data handling practices.
AI Assistant Conversations
Conversations with our AI Assistant are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. We do not store conversation history on our servers. Refer to Anthropic's privacy policy for details on their data handling.

Your contact information enables us to respond to support requests and provide product updates.
No Advertising

Encryption
All data transmitted between your device and our services is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
Minimal Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services. You can request deletion at any time.
Infrastructure
Our backend services are hosted on industry-standard cloud platforms with SOC 2 compliance.
